Shell Aviation B2B

Delayed flights cost airlines millions of dollars every year. This B2B campaign explained some of the more surprising causes and showed how Shell's Aviation Services like 'On Time Within Schedule' and SkyPad can get around 90% of delayed flights back on schedule.

Trade/broadsheet press campaign.

Content film idea: The longest paper aeroplane flight in the world

Shot at an airport, this film is centered around an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest time a paper airplane can stay in the air.

The film sets off with the thought, “Not all paper helps you spend more time flying” and leads with the story of SkyPad and the benefits of end-to-end paperless refuelling, interview key people – pilots and refuelling technicians on the apron.

We also weave into the film the other Shell stories: talking to the OTWS team and key airline staff about the importance of understanding and avoiding delays; talking to passengers and pilots about Biojet and the importance of reducing carbon emissions and the fact that all these Shell initiatives are helping to pave the way to the Airport of the Future.

The film culminates with the successful flight and the record being confirmed by the Guiness Book of Records official, to the excitement and cheering of the whole team.

This could be broken up for parts, creating several content films and PR opportunities.

Carbon offsetting ambient project

Ambient Ideas don't come much bigger than this. This one-off concept showcased Shell Aviation's initiative work with airports around the world and encourage them to become carbon-neutral by planting crops and woodland near runways to act as 'carbon sinks'. We proposed this idea to be seen by air travellers on final approach to London Gatwick.
